This policy explains how UNINKD™ ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit our website or take part in our customer research. We are the data controller for the information described here. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@uninkd.com.

1. Information we collect

Research sign-ups & surveys. If you respond to one of our research ads or forms (including Instagram/Meta lead forms), we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email address, Instagram handle, age range, and your answers about your tattoo and healing experience.
Founders / waiting lists. If you join a list on our site, we collect your email address and any details you submit.
Usage data. When you visit the site we automatically collect limited technical data (e.g. IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed) via the analytics and advertising tools described in section 5.

2. How we use your information

To run and analyse customer research interviews and surveys.
To contact you about a research session you opted into, and to pay any agreed participation incentive.
To send you updates only where you have asked us to (e.g. a founders list).
To understand how our site and ads perform, and to improve them.

3. Legal basis

Where UK/EU data protection law applies, we rely on your consent (which you can withdraw at any time) for research participation and marketing emails, and on our legitimate interests in understanding our audience and operating our website securely.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed:

Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — ad delivery and lead forms.
PayPal — to pay research participation incentives.
MailerLite — email list management, where you have joined a list.
Netlify and Cloudflare — website hosting and analytics.

These providers process data under their own privacy terms and may operate outside your country; where required, appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.

5. Cookies, analytics & advertising

We use the Meta Pixel to measure ad performance and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand site traffic. These may set cookies or collect device identifiers. You can control cookies through your browser settings and your Instagram/Facebook ad preferences.

6. How long we keep it

We keep research data only as long as needed for the study and our records, and contact details only while a list or relationship is active. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@uninkd.com. If you are in the UK or EU and have an unresolved concern, you may also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
